Did you hear the Yankees said their only untouchable prospects were A-Jax and Romine, not even Montero. Romine must be something special, from what I hear can play some good defense behind the plate and has a good bat. He is probably our next catcher, he’s lookin like a very special prospect….

Yes the Yankees don’t like the way Montero catches. They say he is not a good defensive catcher. If he’s not going to be a good defensive catcher, then he’ll just be another hitter that they can trade for a starting pitcher in a package down the road.
They have too much invested in A-Jax emotionally to let him go.
