Another great game for Hughes
Philip Hughes threw 4 hitless innings Sunday afternoon and it was good enough to get him the win after 4 innings of work against the Minnesota Twins in which the Yankees won, 6-4. Jeff Marquez and Chase Wright weren’t so lucky after giving up an earned run a piece and both were reassigned to minor-league camp. On his first day back, Hideki Matsui went 0-3. Shelley Duncan had a great game going 1 for 1, 2 walks and 2 runs scored.
