Moose looks good in Yankee loss

The Yankees lost 4-1 to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on Saturday afternoon but Mussina showed promise by striking out 5 Devil Ray batters in 2.2 innings and his curve ball was breaking every where. He had some problems with the home plate umpire who some might say didn’t call a fair game for Mussina but overall it was a promising performance. Derek Jeter continues to slump in the pre-season but maybe it’s the fact that he doesn’t like playing so many pre-season games and he’s frustrated by it. Mussina gets an A performance and Derek Jeter gets an D- grade. Elliot Johnson of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays crashed into Yankee catcher prospect Francisco Cervelli at home plate and broke Cervelli’s wrist.
