A-Rod and Tipping Pitches

The newest and latest Alex Rodriguez steroid story doesn’t surprise me in the least bit. I’m more surprised he would tip hitters of the opposing team during a blow out on what pitch was coming next. That’s if it’s even true.

If I was a reliever on any team, I’d watch every thing and every one around me because you never know.

I wonder if games like yesterday where the Yankee relievers let in 5 runs in the 9th inning had anything to do with players tipping the opposing team. Since the Yankees were killing the Tigers, maybe Melky gave Granderson some signs on what pitch was coming. This could be the reason why Mariano gave up home runs two outings in a row. No, I really don’t think that happened.

Still, nothing that happens in this world shocks me anymore.

  1. BaseballJunkie Says:

    Sean,
Are you losing faith in the human race?

  2. Yes, I’ve lost faith in the human race a long time ago. Actually, I started losing faith after 9/11.

  3. I don’t even care anymore about steroids, it’s whatever, most of the football players in my school take them, people look at A-Rod and blame him, but I bet over half of the players have taken it.

  4. What I really can’t figure out is why you don’t see anyone making a big issue about the nfl players. Have you seen how big those guys are? There’s no way that you can become big natural like that.

It seems that baseball is only being targeted.

  5. These Arod stories are getting more and more out there. Even with the new allegations of steroids, its more hearsay than actually evidence. At least with the original story there was proof, here it’s just he said she said. I funny thing is i think this focus on ARod is not actually helping the roid problem. Everyone is now so focused on this one guy that aren’t bothering finding out the other players who have juiced. Also how many damn nicknames does ARod have? It seems every writer has a different nickname for ARod given by “anonymous” yankees players.

this guy needs to live the life of a monk and let people forget about him.
He is not a pressure guy! Yet he still wants to draw attention to himself. I don’t know about young any more, but definetly not smart.

  7. You’re right DT about her having no proof. They make fun of A-Rod a lot maybe because he’s a Yankee and he’s in the spotlight. If he was still on Texas, there’s no way he’d be talked about the way he is now.

  8. ray ry’s, he’ll never be able to live the life of a monk because of the New York media. He’ll always be in the spotlight especially since he’s a great player.
