Trenton Thunder wins Eastern Conference Championship
Trenton Thunder are the Champs
The Trenton Thunder won the Eastern Conference Championship behind the great pitching of Jeffrey Marquez who gave up 1 earned run on 5 hits for the win. Then Jason Jones pitched 3 scoreless innings for the save. Trenton won 5-1. According to Mike Ashmore’s Thunder’s Thoughts, AUSTIN. JACKSON. IS. CLUTCH. With two on and two out in the third, he hit a ball to short right field that former Thunder star Bronson Sardinha dove for but couldn’t come up with. Reegie Corona scored on the play. 1-0, Thunder.
He’s just what the Yankees need, a clutch hitter. The amazing thing about this is that the Yankees have their triple A Affliate and their double A affiliate as league champions. Congrats to the Trenton Thunder.

Another clutch player on the Thunder roster, catcher P. J. Pilittere (Pete Junior.)

What an amazing run. Two championships for the price of one. PJ looks like the real deal.
