Yankees lose 3-1 
I personally am not upset like I usually would be that the Yankees lost because I know they aren’t making the playoffs. What about A-Rod tonight. He makes another out in a key situation, like usual and we have to deal with him until who knows how long. I forgot how long his contract is. A hard hit ball is not an excuse. If he’s going to hit the ball hard, let it be over the fence to tie the game, not where a fielder is in position to catch it. I wouldn’t of been surprised if that young pitcher for the Mariners no hit the Yankees. I’m so sick and tired of these old veterans starting in the field. I don’t like Damon, Abreu, A-Rod, Giambi, Matsui and now Cano. The lineup the Yankees put out there were supposed to put a scare in teams, not be almost no hit by a young pitcher who started in his first game. It’s terrible and Cashman has to go.

If Ichiro played in the Major Leagues his whole career, he probably would of had a chance to beat the all time hit record.
Watch Morrow give up a hit to Molina.

Holy smoke, this guy has a no hitter through 7 innings. Yankees don’t score of course.
A-Rod getting the boos. He should get booed at Yankee stadium too.
Mel Stottel, however you spell it, is the pitching coach of the Mariners. You know he’d love to see a no hitter against the Yankees.
This game is going pretty fast. The first 6 innings went in 1:45.

I never talked about my little league career. Only my farm league. Farm league comes before little league. I started in centerfield, made the all star team and our team won the world series. That was the best sports year of my life before I started feeling the effects of Lupus.

I remember when Jeter had 4 world series rings and every one thought he had many more coming to him. How times change.
I hope the Yankees are a completely different team next year. It’s obvious this isn’t working.
And if you do Math, that’s 3 hours for a game.
This game seems like it is going fast but it usually takes 1 hour per 3 innings.

Out of all the guys to break up the no hitter it was Wilson Betemit. You are right about Brian Cashman, he has to go. Kei Igawa, Carl Pavano, Latroy Hawkins, Kyle Farnsworth, & Chase Wright have all been busts. He signed Randy Johnson & Kevin Brown but they were past there prime. All he knows how to do is sign free agents. The Yankee farm system is depleted. The starting pitching staff for Triple AAA are all rejects that couldnt survive in the majors. And in all the pasts drafts Cashman has signed pitchers who all have injury problems. Horne, Sanchez, Cox, Brackman, & Hughes have all been injured and have a history of injures. The only good players that have came from the yankee farm systems in the past seven years are Joba Chamberlain, Ching Ming Wang, & Robinson Cano. That is pathetic. I will give him credit on the Nady & Marte trade but that is it. In the early 90′s the yankees drafted players like Derek Jeter, Bernie Williams, Jore Posada, Mariano Rivera, & Andy pettite. That is how the yankees won all those championships. Now I know when they drafted those players the yankees were in last place so that is why they had such high draft picks but I still want to better players. The yankees have a lot of questions they have ask themselves in the next couple years. For example who is going to be the yankees centerfeilder, leftfielder, catcher, & shortstop in three years. I hope they dont replace them with old washed up players.

Jose. I say give Igawa one more shot at the major league level. If he blows it, that’s it for him. He proved himself down in the minors but if he gets called up and gets rocked. Forget him. Chase Wright has been pretty good in the minors. The players the Yankees could place in center field could be Austin Jackson. In left or right field you can put Cabrera or Gardner but we both know that both of them are not going to be starters the rest of their careers. One will make it, one will not. Catcher, you have Francisco Cervelli who’s a great defensive catcher down in Trenton and has hit .324. Short stop you could have Luis Nunez but I’m not sure if he’d cut it. Don’t forget that Cashman signed Joba and Joba had a big time history of injury problems and what do you know, Joba was injured this year.
