Mussina’s turn against the Angels
The game starts at 3:55 PM in Yankee stadium. It feels like Dead Man Walking with Mussina going against the Angels like he’s destined to lose. This Angel team does every thing right. I’d really like to see Moose get back on a winning streak not just because he’s on the Yankees but because he’s on two of my fantasy teams. I remember when Jered Weaver came up for the Angels he was pitching like a god. I drafted him in all of my fantasy teams and he “was” a god but now he’s just average. He was supposed to be the next big thing, the next Pedro. Torre Hunter has been on fire lately going 12 for 32 with five homers and 15 RBIs in 8 games on the Angels current road trip but he won’t be playing the next 2 games because he’s at his grandmother’s funeral.

It looks like Tim Raines could play right now.

The Yanks get a break not having to face Hunter, though I hate to see such personal tragedy befall people. I have a good feeling about Mussina, but I honestly really have no idea what to expect after the last several games. All I know is the Yankees badly need a win. The bottom of the order has to step up and roll over the lineup. Betemit, Melky, and Molina doesn’t exactly get me jazzed up.
Keep up the good work with your excellent blog. Would you mind adding me to your Yankees Blogroll? I plan to add your blog to mine right after I post this.
