Yankees win 13 – 3jobachamberlainpitching.jpg

The New York Yankees dominated the Baltimore Orioles and won by a score of 13-3. Starting for the Yankees was Joba Chamberlain and he pitched a great game giving up 2 runs on 5 hits in 6 innings of work for the win but 1 run was unearned because of a fielding error by Robinson Cano. Replacing Joba Chamberlain to start the 7th inning was Edwar Ramirez but he was ejected for throwing his first pitch over the head of Kevin Millar so David Robertson came in the game and he gave up 1 earned run on 1 hit in 2 innings. Dan Giese pitched a perfect 9th inning. The hitting stars of the game for the Yankees worth mentioning were Bobby Abreu, Alex Rodriguez and Xavier Nady. Bobby Abreu went 3 for 4 with 4 runs scored and 3 rbi’s along with 2 home runs. Alex Rodriguez went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 2 rbi’s along with a home run and Nady went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 2 rbi’s. Sean’s video of the day. Metallica Sad But True
