Our Hero Brett Gardner/misc/Boston Prediction/
Stuff
I’ve never felt like a bigger Yankee fan than I do now because of all of these prospects the Yankees are bringing up. I want to see Brett Gardner lead off for the next 10 years. If he could get on base like he did in the minors, the Yankees will be hard to beat for a long time. Say Gardner is up at bat, he walks, drives the pitcher crazy, steals second base then Jeter grounds out to second base. 1 out, man on third. Bobby BYE BYE then hits a sacrifice fly to left field, Yankees up, 1 – 0. That sounds too perfect but that’s the type of play that Gardner could bring to this lineup.
Let’s talk about Tennis. I’m going to sit here and guarantee that Rafael Nadal won’t have a long career because I believe he is on steroids. Athletes on steroids are always getting some sort of injury and already Nadal is pulling out of the Mercedes Cup with a knee injury. He won’t have a legendary career.
Varitek makes the all star team. What a joke. Red Sox fans should be ashamed of having him on the team.
A-Rod’s wife files for divorce I always wondered what A-God was doing with a woman like Cynthia. She’s not very pretty. Still, they have kids but I’m not one to judge him on his personal life.
Twins at Boston. I don’t see Boston winning this game. The Twins are feeling good after a 7-2 homestand and they have won 6 out of their last 8 away from the Metrodome. They are fighting the Red Sox for the wild card spot and as we saw last night, the Red Sox have no heart. Minnesota’s Scott Baker is an average to very good pitcher and Matsuzaka walks a lot of batters which leads him to leave games early. Twins win 8-6.

Brett Gardner is our future. Hank knows this and so does Hal.

Boston is not a threat anymore. They folded easily last night.

Tampa is better than Boston. It pains me to say it, but they are looking like World Series champs.

It was a relief when I saw the ball go up the middle.

Nice prediction on the Sox/Twins game. How’d that work out for you?
Yanks still 11 out in the loss column — against the Rays. Ouch!
