Yankees win over the Athletics 3-1
The New York Yankees won a close game over the Oakland Athletics by a score of 3-1. Starting for the Yankees was Chien-Ming Wang and he gave up 1 earned run on 7 hits in 7.1 innings of “work” for the win. Replacing Wang was Jose Veras and he pitched a scoreless .2 of an inning. Mariano Mo them down Rivera pitched a scoreless 9th inning giving up 1 hit for the save. The hitting stars of the game worth mentioning for the Yankees were Alex Rodriguez, Jason I’m doing steroids again Giambi and Melky Cabrera. A-Rod went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored and 1 rbi. Giambeeeeeno went 1 for 2 with 1 rbi and Melky Cabrera went 1 for 4 with 1 run scored and 1 rbi along with a big, far, I can’t believe I dropped him in fantasy baseball, bigger than big, so big that it amazes everyone like a Union Of The Snake by Duran Duran type of BIZZZZZZZOMB!!!
The disgraceful player of the game was Robinson Cano who went 0 for 4. Now that’s a disgrace. That’s not only a disgrace but a nightmare.

The Yankees didn’t need Joba in the 8th innings As long as the Yankees don’t use Farnsworth, everything will be good.

Giambi is too old to resign. He’s doing a lot better this year but he’ll be old next year and he’d probably stink it up because he’d have a new contract.

Nice comeback game by Mo.

Cabrera is underated. He should be in the Yankees long term plan for centerfield.

Cano is much worse this year than last. It’s the sophmore slump.
