The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees won a close game over Syracuse Chiefs by a score of 3-2. The Charleston RiverDogs lost a close game to the Rome Braves by a score of 8-7. Starting for the RiverDogs was Jason Stephens and he did not pitch well giving up 4 earned runs on 11 hits in 5.2 innings of work for the no decision.
