The New York Yankees won over the Boston Red Sox by a score of 6-4.

Ya gotta ba LEEEEEE VA! Do you know what their names are? Do you? There names are the New York Yankees and they are the DEFENDING World Champions. WORLD Champions. They were at Boston and they showed the Red Sox how to play the game of baseball. The “game” of baseball. I don’t know much in this life but I do know this… watching the Yankees win will make you feel better about yourself.

The Yankees were GIANTS. Giants in a strange land. Giants in an aggressive land and finally, Giants in Red Sox territory. They had the determination. They had the courage.

The winning can be described like a football game. The winning drive started in the eighth inning. Scutaro from the Red Sox made an error that let the Yankee “giants’” inning keep going. Bases were loaded. Tensions were high. People were getting nervous all over the world. What happens next? Two words. Nick Johnson happened. He worked a walk that gave the Yankees the lead for good. After that you can see that the Red Sox were deflated. They didn’t have what it took to make a comeback because it’s not their way, it’s not in their make up. Yankee fans? Welcome aboard.

It’s important to know what your role in life is. The Red Sox role was to lose this game. It was in the stars. There was no way the Yankees would lose two games in a row to the team up in Boston Massachusetts. The Yankees are made up of “professionals.” Let’s look up “professional” in the dictionary. This is what it says.. “A person who is expert at his or her work.” That makes a lot of sense.

Yankee fans? Do you think the Yankees were experts? Hmm? You bet they were. Did you see Joe Girardi say, “Let’s Go!”? to Marte after he took him out of the game? That’s a sign of a winner. A “real” winner.

Do you know what a fist pump is? See Joba Chamberlain. He did the fist pump and he pumped fastballs by the Red Sox. They call him Mr. McNasty. His velocity is back and ready to rule you. Robinson Canizo hit the ball in the happy zone for good measure. You knew at that point that the game was over. Then god came in the ninth inning and it was lights out for Boston. The Yankees are unshakeable, unstoppable and unbroken. They are winners and they won tonight.
