Indians solve the formula

The New York Yankees lost to the Cleveland Indians by a score of 3-2. Starting for the Yankees was Andy Pettitte and he pitched a great game giving up 2 earned runs on 5 hits in 6.1 innings of work. Farnsworth finished the rest of the 7th inning and was perfect. Joba Chamberlain lost the game on a 3 run home run by pinch hitter David Dellucci. Joba gave up 3 earned runs on 1 hit in the 8th inning for the loss. Jose Veras pitched a perfect 9th. The hitting stars for the Yankees were Hideki Matsui and Jason Giambi. Matsui went 3 for 3 with 1 run scored and Giambi went 1 for 3 with 1 run scored and 2 rbi’s.

    Bah humbug. Bob Hope is right. Joba couldn’t be perfect all the time.

  6. I thought the game was over and that it was a guarantee that the Yankees would win.
