I would have also liked for the Yankees to get John Lackey. Not our nemesis, the Red Sox. He’s going to be good for them.
Halladay on the Phillies? Wow. They traded Lee in a three way while Lee would go to Seattle. I thought Lee was clutch for them in the playoffs however. What could Halladay give them that Lee didn’t? Extra wins in the regular season? Halladay is going to have to show he can pitch in the playoffs.
The Angels getting Matsui would be a great move for them. He’d replace Vladimir Guerrero. Vlad was terrible in the playoffs and he swung at everything that was out and away. Matsui will bring clutchness to that team. I’d hate to face Matsui in the playoffs.
