I can’t believe Marte is on the ALCS roster
Maybe Joe wants another lefty but this guy is an earned run waiting to happen. I don’t understand the move. The New York Yankees have dropped Hinkse instead of Marte. It does make sense to drop Hinske because he’ll would only be brought off the bench and the key pitchers in the Angels bull pen is Fuentes and Oliver who are both lefties.
*Gulp* What about Brian Bruney? He did pitch well towards the end of the season. I mean, Marte has a 9.45 ERA. This is not a pitcher we want in the post season. Damaso Marte was awful against the Minnesota Twins in the ALDS, nearly costing the Yankees in Game 2. With Phil Coke pitching well as a left-handed specialist, there is no need for Marte.
