Yankees Daily interviews Pat Venditte on blogtalkradio March 16

March 14th, 2010 Sean S. Posted in Radio Show 3 Comments »

We interview Pat Venditte, the “switch pitcher” for the New York Yankees meaning he can pitch with both arms. We’ll interview him on his career right now with the Yankees minor league affliate Tampa Yankees. He’s the only ambidextrous pitcher in baseball.

We’ll ask about his daily routine and what it’s like being a Yankee. I have some pretty good interview questions for him like “What happens and what do you do when your “stuff” is working with one arm and not the other?”

Pat is not only known for pitching with both arms but for being a good pitcher as well. He dominates his competition.

The show will be held at http://www.yankeesdaily.com at 7:00 PM Eastern time Tuesday March 16. If you want to chat live during the show, go to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/yankeesdaily/2010/03/16/pat-venditte-interview You can also go to the link I just gave you if you can’t get into yankeesdaily.com in case the site freezes up. This site freezes up a lot so make sure to mark down the blog talk radio url.

You can also ask Pat questions yourself while at blog talk radio. You type them in and we will read them and ask Pat. I’m hoping to get some good questions from his fans as well.

I hope to see you there.

The Radio Show

November 28th, 2009 Sean S. Posted in Radio Show No Comments »

I am going to be doing the radio show again but I need to get my website in shape first. I have one of the worst hosting services ever. It seems that if more than 10 people come to this site at once, the site freezes.

My webhost told me that I should download a plugin to make yankeesdaily work faster but I don’t know how to do it. I also need to update word press which is another thing I don’t know how to do.

I’m looking at two web designers that some one helped me get to put the plugins, in, for me and make the page look better overall and fix mistakes that I might have on the website.

I’ll probably choose the cheaper guy that’s in India of all places and that will be Monday. Once I get a plugin installed to help the website work, a little faster, I’m going to start up the radio show again. It gets frustrating when I try to come to my own site and it won’t load.

I’m going out with my father in a few minutes to see New Moon at the theaters even though I saw it already on my computer but it wasn’t the greatest viewing experience. I want to see it on the big screen.

I’ll be back to write Yankee stuff.

YankeesDaily Radio Show with I don’t know who next

November 5th, 2009 Sean S. Posted in Radio Show No Comments »

I’ll be doing the radio show on Wednesday’s for now on because I like to relax on Thursdays. Since I’m home on Thursdays, I get really tense when I have all day to think about the show.

I’m not sure who I will interview next but I like doing a radio show because it’s fun. I’m going to have to get this website working faster as well.

I’d like to thank the owner of johnsterling.blogspot.com/

October 21st, 2009 Sean S. Posted in Radio Show 2 Comments »

He gave a great, great interview. I was very nervous at first because I’ve been in other interviews where people wouldn’t talk and I had to bring up a lot of topics but “El Duque” from http://johnsterling.blogspot.com/ was a great talker and interviewer. He talked which helped me relax. Some times I wasn’t clear when I talked because I have a hard time talking some times because I rush.

I regret closing the chat room in the end because there were people in the chat room. Otherwise, thank you.

The show was a half hour.

Go here to listen to it…

He’s a nice guy and great person. I wish them a lot of luck with their blog.

Radio Show Wednesday with It is high.. it is far.. it is…

October 18th, 2009 Sean S. Posted in Radio Show No Comments »

On Wednesday, September 21 at 7:00 PM, “we” will interview the owner of IT IS HIGH, IT IS FAR, IT IS… caught website on our radio show.

When I say we, I mean my friend Greg Mandler and I.

The show will be a half hour and not an hour like the first show. An hour is too long. Even when I go to listen to radio shows, I don’t want to sit through a whole hour.

The first show I talked about myself a lot and did it for 40 minutes. We’re going right to the interview this time.

“It is high’s” website is one of the first Yankee websites I knew about when I started getting into the Yankees on the internet so I thought he would be the perfect person to interview.

Their website specializes in all things John Sterling and the New York Yankees as well. It’s a real fun website.

We hope you stop by and listen because it will be a fun show. It will have a G rating.

Here are some of the questions I will ask him…

Did you think John Sterling had any great moments as a broadcaster?

Are you looking forward to John Sterling’s last call if the Yankees win the world series?

What do you think he’ll say? Or yell?
